JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, support and troubleshooting of Cisco IP Phones and Avaya Unified Comms systems
  • for business units in accordance with bank’s standard and policies.
  • Implement telecommunications projects as assigned by IT Department Managers.
  • Provide on-site technical leadership during project implementation to ensure compliance with standards and schedules.
  • Develop written guidelines for installation, operation and maintenance of new equipment and configurations.
  • Create documentation such as user manuals, procedures and reports.
  • Maintain records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Conduct training sessions for users of newly installed or upgraded equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors/contractors on matters relating to the projects being implemented.
  • Support Voice systems in Regional and local Disaster recovery exercise.
  • Work with relevant team in VA screening and patching

REQUIREMENTS

  • English proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Cisco IP Phones and Avaya PBX systems.
  • Knowledge of the following components:
    • Communication Manager
    • System Manager
    • Session Manager
    • IX Messaging
    • Avaya Aura Device Services
    • Session Border Controller
    • Element Management System
    • Avaya Media Server
    • Application Enablement Services
    • G450
    • Avaya Contact Recorder Advanced
    • Workforce Optimization
    • Call Management System
    • IX Workplace
  • Experience in complex projects involving the above-listed components.
  • Experience in BAU (Business as Usual) operations.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex design concepts.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including cross-functional influence and internal/external consulting and partnering.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.
  • Ability to generate standard project documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD), Network Diagrams, WLIs, and other related documents.
  • Ability to troubleshoot implementation issues and problems.
