JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Overview
We are looking for a SAP Presales Consultant to support business development activities by providing solution consulting, proposal development, and technical-functional expertise for SAP opportunities. The role will work closely with Sales, Delivery, and SAP Consulting teams to understand customer requirements, shape solutions, and drive successful deal pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Qualification & Solutioning
- Collaborate with Sales teams to understand customer business challenges and transformation objectives.
- Analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate SAP solutions and implementation approaches.
- Design high-level solution architectures aligned with customer needs and SAP best practices.
- Support opportunity qualification and solution feasibility assessments.
Presales & Proposal Management
- Prepare solution presentations, proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and effort estimations.
- Participate in RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses.
- Develop value propositions, business cases, and solution positioning for SAP offerings.
- Coordinate with delivery teams to define scope, assumptions, and implementation strategies.
Customer Engagement
- Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Present SAP capabilities and industry-specific solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with prospective clients.
Market & Offering Development
- Stay updated on SAP products, industry trends, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support the development of SAP service offerings, solution assets, and presales materials.
- Contribute to thought leadership content, customer events, and marketing activities when required.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical & Functional Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in SAP consulting, implementation, solution architecture, or presales activities.
- Good understanding of SAP products and enterprise business processes.
Preferred SAP Expertise
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP FICO
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- SAP SuccessFactors
- SAP Ariba
- SAP SAC
- SAP BTP
Presales Competencies
- Experience preparing proposals, effort estimations, and solution presentations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into solution recommendations.
- Experience participating in RFP/RFI processes is preferred.
- Understanding of digital transformation and enterprise application landscapes.
Communication & Business Skills
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to engage with both business and technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Language Skills
- Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Additional languages are a plus depending on project markets.
