The Client Challenge

The client’s project aimed to achieve the following goals for over 2000 charging stations:

1. Implement digital solutions to streamline maintenance management procedures.
2. Effectively oversee consumables and spare parts required for maintenance services.
3. Monitor maintenance expenses and streamline accounting processes by automating transaction recording.
4. Develop an automated reporting system for maintenance management.

CMC Global Approach

The proposed plan included the following actions:
– Introducing a fresh deployment of the SAP S/4HANA Asset Management module on-site, incorporating FICO MM, PP, and other modules.
– Installing a mobile add-on for S/4HANA, leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
– Using the SAP mobile add-on package, including mobile applications like Service and Asset Manager, and an inventory manager for both iOS and Android platforms.
– Developing forms, reports, and mobile applications tailored for in-house staff and maintenance personnel, among other tasks.
