JOB DESCRIPTION 

At CMC Global, we’re looking for a Data Business Analyst to spearhead the development and implementation of our data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing data platforms in on-premise environments, with extensive experience in distributed systems architecture and data engineering technologies. This role requires technical leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of data infrastructure, and excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

What you will do:

BA Experience & Skills:

• Experience as a BA (i.e. IT-BA, Data Analyst…) (3 years+ for OS)
• Excellent at Communication & Negotiation in environment with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent at Presentation (Diagrams, Matrix …) & Documentation for Business & Technical audiences (in both English and Vietnamese);
• Excellent in Requirement Elicitation & Specification

Data Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent level on SQL extract data on DB
• Experience on Python programming language (nice to have)
• Experience on Enterprise DB Server: SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2…
• Good understanding about Cloud technology (AWS technical stack: Glue, Athena, S3…) & knowledge for Databrick is plus point.
• Strong knowledge & proven experience about Data platform such as Data-warehouse (Dimensional Modelling, ETL, Staging, DataMart, SCD, CDC…)

Bank Domain Knowledge & Experience:

• Understanding about Bank general knowledge: Products, Channels, Systems…
• Really good understanding about Bank data from System point of view (nice to have)
• Experience on Bank projects is big plus.

Others:

• English: Excellent level – can communicate smoothly with foreign parties (nice to have)
• Proven experience on Integration projects (handling on Data Mapping, Data Modelling…) (nice to have)
• Proven experience on international projects with stakeholders from various countries (nice to have)

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel), DWH, Datalake
• Experience with data validation, testing methodologies, or QA in a data environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with business analysis techniques and requirement gathering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
