JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are looking for a Google Analytics Tester responsible for validating analytics implementations and ensuring accurate tracking of user behavior, events, conversions, and business metrics across websites and digital platforms. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Test and validate Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementations. 
• Verify events, parameters, conversions, user properties, and tracking flows. 
• Validate implementation through Google Tag Manager (GTM). 
• Check data consistency between website/application activities and GA4 reports. 
• Test tracking implementations across browsers, devices, and environments. 
• Validate Data Layer implementation and event triggering. 
• Identify missing, duplicated, or incorrectly configured tracking events. 
• Use browser Developer Tools and debugging tools to troubleshoot tracking issues. 
• Create test cases, test scenarios, test reports, and defect reports. 
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Marketing, Data, and Analytics teams and perform regression testing after changes. 

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE 

• 2+ years of Software Testing and/or Analytics Testing experience. 
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, preferably GA4. 
• Experience with Google Tag Manager. 
• Understanding of event tracking, conversions, parameters, and Data Layer. 
• Ability to validate analytics data and identify tracking discrepancies. 
• Experience using browser Developer Tools. 
• Good understanding of software testing processes and methodologies. 
• Ability to create test cases and clearly document defects. 
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, for daily collaboration and technical documentation. 

NICE TO HAVE 

• Experience with Google Tag Assistant and GA4 DebugView. 
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript. 
• Experience with SQL or BigQuery. 
• Experience testing e-commerce analytics. 
• Knowledge of consent management, cookies, and privacy-related tracking. 
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
