JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Middle Business Analyst with experience working on Japanese projects, holding at least JLPT N2 certification and possessing strong Japanese reading comprehension skills to analyze, summarize, and communicate requirements effectively to the project team.
- Read and understand project documentation in Japanese; analyze and consolidate system functions, business requirements, and process flows.
- Gather, analyze, and clarify requirements with Senior Business Analysts, Project Managers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain BA documentation, including Requirement Specifications, User Stories, Use Cases, Flow Diagrams, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Communicate requirements to Developers and Testers; support the team throughout the development and testing phases.
- Track questions, QA items, change requests, and update documentation whenever requirements change.
- Support UAT activities, verify requirement fulfillment, and coordinate the resolution of business-related issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3.5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Japanese proficiency of at least JLPT N2.
- Strong ability to read and understand project documentation in Japanese, with the capability to summarize and communicate information effectively to the team.
- Experience working on projects for Japanese clients.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of a Business Analyst within the SDLC.
- Strong skills in requirement analysis, documentation, and process/flow modeling.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate in Japanese in a business environment is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence.
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, or the ability to read and understand system design documentation is a plus.
