JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with experience working on Japanese projects, the ability to lead Business Analysts, and the capability to work directly with Japanese clients. Fluent Japanese language skills are required to communicate, analyze, and clarify business requirements effectively.
- Work directly with Japanese clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements.
- Analyze project documentation in Japanese; consolidate functional requirements, business flows, and system flows, and communicate them clearly to the project team.
- Proactively communicate and conduct QA/requirement clarification with Japanese clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and manage BA deliverables, including BRD, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Flow Diagrams, Acceptance Criteria, and other related documents.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Testers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented.
- Review BA documentation and deliverables; provide support and guidance to other Business Analysts when necessary.
- Analyze impacts of change requests; manage requirement traceability and support UAT and release activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst, including leading or supporting BA teams.
- Fluent Japanese language skills with the ability to communicate directly with Japanese clients during meetings, discussions, and requirement clarification sessions.
- Strong ability to read and understand business and technical documentation written in Japanese.
- Experience working on projects for Japanese clients.
- Solid understanding of requirement elicitation, business analysis, documentation, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it to project teams in a clear and structured manner.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- JLPT N1 or N2 certification is an advantage; practical communication ability is prioritized.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience reviewing, mentoring Business Analysts, or conducting QA activities with Japanese clients.
