JOB DESCRIPTION 

Working Location: Texas

• Develop and manage AI FinOps processes, including budgeting, forecasting, total cost of ownership (TCO), and ROI analysis.
• Build and maintain showback, chargeback, and cost allocation models based on AI usage, cloud consumption, and business value.
• Analyze AI platform costs across cloud infrastructure, foundation models, APIs, licensing, and enterprise AI platforms to identify optimization opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams on vendor contracts, renewals, licensing, and pricing strategies.
• Create executive dashboards and reports tracking AI spend, utilization, adoption, and financial performance using Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop financial models supporting AI investment decisions and value realization.
• Establish governance processes and financial controls for responsible AI spending.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FinOps, FP&A, Technology Finance, Procurement, Cloud Cost Management, or related financial operations.
• Strong understanding of AI cost models, including token-based pricing, inference costs, cloud consumption, API pricing, and AI licensing.
• Experience with showback, chargeback, billback, cost allocation, and cost recovery methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of TCO, unit economics, business case development, ROI analysis, and technology investment planning.
• Experience reviewing enterprise software contracts, licensing agreements, vendor negotiations, and financial governance.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar BI/reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting enterprise AI or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with AI platform licensing and cloud consumption reporting.
