At the National Conference on Breakthroughs in Science, Technology, Innovation, and National Digital Transformation held on January 13, 2025, in Hanoi, CMC Corporation made a strong impression with its groundbreaking products and innovative strategies, reaffirming its leadership in driving Vietnam’s digital transformation.

During the event, CMC showcased its Data Center system, including CMC Tan Thuan Data Center, regarded as the most advanced data center in Vietnam today.

Inaugurated in August 2022 with an investment exceeding 1,500 billion VND, the Tan Thuan Data Center meets international standards like Uptime Tier III, TVRA, and PCI DSS. As the first center in Vietnam certified for risk prevention and the highest level of data security, it serves critical sectors such as finance, banking, and government operations. It has been deployed to support key services like e-government, smart cities, and 24/7 mission-critical systems.

Currently, CMC operates data centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with a total capacity of 10MW, aiming to expand to 100MW by 2028. This capacity positions CMC to meet domestic demands and advance Vietnam’s goal of becoming a regional Digital Hub.

Another highlight of CMC at the conference was the C.OPENAI ecosystem, a suite of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions poised to drive innovation across industries:

  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): The C-OCR solution has digitized and streamlined data management, notably in social insurance operations across 36 provinces. It automates processes, boosts productivity, and minimizes errors.
  • Speech Data Processing: AI-powered technologies enable the development of virtual assistants and intelligent call center systems for customer care and personalized experiences.
  • Computer Vision: CMC’s facial recognition technology, ranked in the Top 12 globally, offers practical applications in security, public administration, and various industries.
  • Big Data Analytics: Advanced analytics tools help organizations make strategic, data-driven decisions, enhancing operational efficiency and unlocking new business opportunities.
  • Broad Applications: Beyond technology, the C.OPENAI ecosystem accelerates advancements in smart healthcare, modern education, and smart city management.

CMC has also committed to a long-term strategy under the vision “Enable Your AI-X”. Chairman and Executive President Nguyen Trung Chinh emphasized:
“CMC is dedicated to supporting the Government in achieving digital transformation goals. Our mission is to position Vietnam as a regional leader in innovation, fostering a self-reliant and sustainable digital economy.”

This national conference marked the launch of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, a pivotal milestone in science, technology, and innovation. CMC pledged to invest the collective expertise of over 5,000 employees to build strategic data infrastructure and a Make-in-Vietnam technology ecosystem.
