The primary goal for the project was to develop an app within a reasonable budget. Scope of CMCG’s work 

CMC Global assessed the needs and pain points of different stakeholders including management boards, marketing & sales team, and 12+ agencies. 

After interviewing, we found a strong familiarity with Microsoft products, making Microsoft Power Apps an ideal solution. Hence, we consulted to develop a web-based platform using Microsoft Power Apps with the following objectives: 

• Standardized report formats using input files from diverse sources, including emails, Salesforce records, and Excel. 

• Provided real-time insights through Power BI, charts and visualization tools 

• Reduced effort in report creation and performance evaluation 

How we build a delivery team? 

A scrum team was formed to tackle the project within a timeframe of 3.5 months, including: 

• 2 RPA Developers ((Robotics Process Automation) 

• 1 Power BI Developers 

• 1 Business Analyst 

• 1 Solution Architect 

Initially, CMCG’s Business Analysts (BAs) conducted interviews to understand user needs and behaviors. Upon confirmation, CMCG proposed a detailed list of functions and suggested some additional features. Once approved, the project team presented a high-level architecture for the client’s review, followed by project kickoff. 

How we control the project quality 

During the development phase, the project team needed to ensure the adherence to specific security protocols, UI/UX design principles, and coding standards from the client. 

Despite these challenges, CMCG’s team displayed remarkable agility. Our architecture and design effectively accommodated change requests from the client, preventing significant cost increases and ensuring the project remained on schedule.
