JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Overview
We are looking for a Pega Developer to design, develop, and implement business applications using the Pega Platform. The role will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and project teams to deliver scalable workflow automation and digital transformation solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of software development principles and is interested in building enterprise applications using low-code technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Pega Platform.
- Configure business processes, case management workflows, decision rules, and user interfaces.
- Develop reusable components following Pega best practices and guardrails.
- Participate in solution design and technical implementation activities.
System Integration
- Integrate Pega applications with external systems through APIs, web services, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Support data migration and interface development where required.
- Collaborate with integration and infrastructure teams.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in software development using Java, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
Pega-Specific Skills
- Experience with Pega Platform development is preferred.
- Understanding of:

- Pega UI Development

- Integrations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pega Infinity Platform.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and enterprise application architecture.
- Pega certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA)
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
