JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to support enhancement and operational stability of EV Charging platform 
• Suitable for experienced engineers who can:  
  • Independently contribute to backend services 
  • Troubleshoot production issues 
  • Work effectively in distributed systems 
• Collaborate closely with:  
  • Technical leads 
  • Product teams 
  • Infrastructure teams 
• Deliver scalable and reliable backend solutions in a cloud-native architecture 

REQUIREMENTS

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs 
• Implement scalable and reliable microservices using Golang 
• Contribute to system performance, reliability, and scalability improvements 
• Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner 
• Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions 
• Work with PostgreSQL databases (query optimization and indexing) 
• Develop and maintain event-driven and asynchronous workflows 
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployments and monitoring 
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and operational readiness 
• Work independently on assigned features and technical tasks 

Technical Requirements (Must Have) 

• Strong experience in Golang building production systems 
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices 
• Good understanding of concurrency and asynchronous processing 
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS 
• Experience with event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka) 
• Hands-on experience debugging production issues 
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployments (e.g., Azure or AWS) 
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Experience working on distributed or high-traffic systems 

Good to Have 

• Beginner to Intermediate knowledge in Java 
• Exposure to observability tools (Datadog, Sentry or similar) 
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) 
• Prior experience in EV charging, mobility, or IoT platforms 
• Familiarity with EV charging protocols such as OCPI & OCPP 
• Experience working with real-time or device-integrated systems
