JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Develop new features and controls for applications serving millions of global users.
• Build and maintain robust backend systems to enhance user experience.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with the frontend team for seamless backend software development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any arising issues and bugs efficiently.
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines for team members, monitor progress, and report results.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory:

• 7+ years of proven experience in web development using PHP, with at least 3 years in a Tech Lead or Senior Developer role.
• Proficiency in Laravel, Symfony, or another popular PHP framework.
• Solid experience working with MySQL / PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Frontend technologies (Vue.js / ReactJS).
• Strong business analysis skills. Ability to research and propose product features based on customer needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the Development and Testing teams during testing and deployment phases.
• Proficient in Git, Git Flow, and code review processes.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide and mentor the team.

Preferred:

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a significant advantage.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience working with Japanese clients.
