AI Transformation: Accelerating Strategy for 2026–2030
At the meeting, CEO Ho Thanh Tung shared CMC’s strategic focus for the 2026–2030 period, centered on the AI-X Transformation vision. First introduced in 2024, the AI-X strategy has already been deployed across a wide range of CMC’s global clients.

Entering 2026, CMC identifies this as a pivotal phase to accelerate the execution of the strategy under the message “Accelerate Your AI-X Transforms,” focusing on expanding AI-driven transformation solutions and developing digital infrastructure platforms to serve global customers.
“In 2026, CMC Global, the international business arm of CMC Corporation, will take a pioneering role in bringing CMC’s AI-X solutions to the global market. We are focusing on developing deep technology products built upon core technologies that have already been proven through numerous projects with international clients. At the same time, CMC aims to expand its global footprint to more than 30 offices worldwide, creating the foundation for breakthrough growth and moving toward our ambition of becoming a billion-dollar technology corporation in the coming years,” emphasized Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, CEO of CMC Corporation.
Go Global: Expanding Presence in Key Markets
Another key topic of discussion was CMC’s plan to significantly expand its presence in strategic markets, including the United States, the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), and the European Union (EU). These markets are considered central to CMC’s global strategy, where the company plans to deploy advanced technology solutions to address the rapidly growing digital transformation demands of international organizations and enterprises.
Through its Go Global strategy, CMC aims to integrate Vietnamese technology products and services more deeply into the global value chain while becoming a trusted partner of the Government in advancing science and technology to support private sector growth and international economic integration.
Elevating Vietnam’s Technological Capabilities: From Corporate Strength to Global Competitiveness
During the discussion, Ms. Luyen Minh Hong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed his strong impression of CMC’s development orientation and acknowledged the company as a representative example of Vietnam’s growing technological capabilities.

She emphasized that as technology increasingly becomes a critical driver of global economic growth, economic diplomacy will continue to accompany and support businesses in bringing Vietnamese technology products and services to international markets, thereby contributing to positioning Vietnam on the global technology map.
“In addition to supporting businesses in expanding into international markets, Vietnam’s overseas missions also serve as important bridges to help domestic enterprises access advanced technologies. At the same time, promoting international cooperation in research, education, and the development of technology talent will be a key factor in strengthening Vietnam’s science and technology capabilities in the years ahead,” MS. Hong noted.
Aligned with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ economic diplomacy strategy, CMC is actively discussing market development plans tailored to specific countries and key regions for the next three years. Leaders of CMC’s member companies, along with directors and representatives from the Group’s overseas branches and offices, also shared recommendations to help address challenges in expanding Vietnam’s IT industry into global markets.

The visit concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthen cooperation between economic diplomacy agencies and technology enterprises in expanding international markets. Through this connection, CMC aims to work closely with Vietnam’s overseas missions to gradually establish a practical cooperation mechanism that supports Vietnamese technology companies in expanding globally, while enhancing Vietnam’s technological standing and promoting the nation’s brand on the international stage.
