On April 22nd, CMC Global Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CMC Corporation, met with a Korean business delegation at its Hanoi headquarters. The delegation, organized by the Korea Association for ICT Promotion (KAIT), is a part of an ongoing effort to foster collaboration between leading technology firms in Vietnam and Korea.

The meeting aimed to facilitate partnerships and mutual cooperation following a series of trade promotion initiatives under the theme of “meet-connect-cooperate.” These endeavors seek to leverage the strengths of both countries’ technology sectors to advance the global Information & Communications Technology industry.

Representing CMC Global were Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, Senior Executive Vice President and General Director of CMC Corporation, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Giang, Korea Division Director. The Korean delegation comprised leaders from KT Group, Sunkyong Telecom (SKT), and LG Uplus (LGU+).

During the meeting, besides showcasing the products, services, and technological expertise of both CMC Global Company and CMC Corporation, CMC Global’s representatives also shared their future strategic vision for the Korean market, aiming to establish themselves as an adaptable partner in digital transformation.

CMC Global emphasized its workforce of 3,000 skilled technology engineers prepared to undertake projects for Korean companies and organizations. These projects include a range of solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and process automation with RPA robots. This figure is particularly remarkable given the recent stagnation in the IT industry, which has been hindered by a scarcity of top-tier talent.

Given the prominent position of KT Group, SKT, and LGU+ in the technology sector, the meeting marks the initial phase in exploring collaboration opportunities. The ultimate aim is for CMC Global to emerge as a premier consultant and provider of digital transformation services in the Korean market.

Representatives from KAIT and Korean enterprises expressed their gratitude for the warm reception of CMC Global. “Both parties are eager to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in facilitating digital transformation and integrating advanced Korean solutions into the Vietnamese market,” said the KAIT delegation representative.

In response to the KAIT delegation representative, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Giang, Korea Division Director of CMC Global, expressed, “CMC Global is deeply honored to be selected by the KAIT business delegation for this visit. With a strong technological infrastructure and a team of experts with extensive experience in executing numerous successful projects, CMC Global possesses the necessary resources to foster cooperation in digital transformation and ensure sustainable development with Korean enterprises. Furthermore, enhancing exchanges and collaboration between businesses from both nations will further propel the application and advancement of ICT, bringing about new achievements for both countries.”
