On the afternoon of May 28, 2026, CMC Global, a member of CMC Corporation, took part in the Vietnam-Thailand Business Forum in Bangkok. The forum was held within the framework of General Secretary To Lam’s high-level visit to Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines.
The event brought together nearly 500 delegates and took place against the backdrop of high-level discussions between Vietnamese and Thai leaders, who emphasized that Vietnamese enterprises need to invest more in technology, particularly within the “Three Connections” strategy.
This strategy includes connecting supply chains, connecting businesses and localities, and connecting sustainable development strategies. It also covers expanding cooperation in new areas such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, the digital economy, green economy, innovation, and energy transition. Both sides also agreed to promote science and technology cooperation, especially in emerging fields like AI and semiconductor technology.

During the forum, Mr. Nguyen Tran Phuong, Director of CMC APAC, represented CMC Global in business matching activities. He also exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Silicon Tech AI Company. The MOU aims to develop software solutions, digital transformation services, and AI applications for the Thai market.
CMC Global’s participation in the forum reinforces the Go Global strategy of CMC Corporation. It also demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting regional enterprises as they navigate their digital transformation and AI adoption journeys.
