A highlight of the afternoon was the keynote speech from Mr. Tung Ho Thanh, President of CMC Global. Speaking to a room of government officials and executives, he positioned CMC as a bridge for digital transformation. Mr. Tung outlined CMC’s ambitious Global AI-X strategy and its $1–2 billion 150MW Hyperscale Data Center project, designed to power the region’s cloud and AI demands.
He emphasized Thailand’s industrial strengths combined with Vietnam’s emerging AI and software talent as a “powerful synergy.” Mr. Tung Ho Thanh also reaffirmed CMC’s commitment to expanding its presence in Thailand, leveraging AI platforms and digital infrastructure to co-create sustainable growth. “We are ready to be a trusted technology partner,” he stated, “accompanying both governments on their journey toward AI-driven prosperity.”
