Seoul, South Korea – [August 2025] – CMC Korea (Korean branch of CMC Global – the leading provider of IT services and digital transformation solutions in Vietnam), and FuriosaAI, a South Korea-based AI semiconductor startup, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration in artificial intelligence, software development, and market expansion in Vietnam, Korea and broader Asia Pacific.
The ceremony was attended by key executives from both organizations, including Mr. Tung Ho Thanh (President of CMC Global), Mr. Bao Dang Ngoc (CEO of CMC Global), Mr. Young Eon Kwon (Country Director of CMC Korea), and FuriosaAI’s leadership team, led by Mr. June Paik (CEO of FuriosaAI) and Mr. Jun Jung (Executive Director of FuriosaAI).

Under this agreement, CMC Korea and FuriosaAI will cooperate in software development, IT operation services, and AI platforms by combining technical expertise and resources using Furiosa’s cutting-edge NPU solutions, including AI chips and CMC Korea’s software engineering expertise. The partnership will also focus on mutual market expansion, with both companies supporting each other’s entry and growth in Vietnam and South Korea.
