Challenge story
The client needed to develop critical systems within the OpsNow platform—a comprehensive cloud management platform developed for resale to enterprise clients. Under pressure to boost profitability, they sought offshore resources to reduce personnel costs without compromising quality.
CMC Global Approach
CMC Global assembled a 13-member Agile team (ReactJS, Python, Next.js, FastAPI, Kafka, Docker, Jenkins on AWS) to develop a unified customer-support platform consisting of three integrated systems—Chat AI, Admin Portal, and Web Terminal
1. Chat AI: Chat AI utilizes AWS’s AI and machine learning services supports both end users and engineers by enabling direct interactions with a chatbot for technical inquiries. It employs artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to generate code based on user prompts. The system can create code according to general best practices, organizational governance, and natural language descriptions of the desired output.
2. Admin Portal: The Admin Portal, built on Next.js, offers a dynamic dashboard for configuring AI models and user roles. It enables administrators to monitor system performance, analyze user interactions, and adjust settings in real-time, ensuring a tailored experience.
3. Web Terminal: The Web Terminal provides a browser-based interface for secure server administration via SSH-over-WebSocket. Users can execute commands and manage configurations directly from their browsers, while also customizing AI responses to meet specific operational needs. This integrated platform enhances operational efficiency, improves user satisfaction, and streamlines support processes through continuous feedback and iterative development.
Results
- 25% reduction in development costs through offshore staffing.
- 3 months to launch MVP, enabling early client pilots and new revenue streams.
- 30% decrease in coding time and fewer errors with context-aware AI suggestions.
- 15% increase in availability and data protection with AWS microservices.
