On January 21, 2025, in Davos, Switzerland, CMC Technology Corporation and Ho Chi Minh City made a remarkable impression at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 under the theme “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age.”

At the conference, CMC, in collaboration with the Vietnam Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), hosted a side forum titled “AI.X for the Intelligent Age – HO CHI MINH CITY: A NEW C4IR & A NEW AI CITY.” This initiative aims to implement the world’s first AI City model in Ho Chi Minh City while reaffirming Vietnam’s pioneering role in the digital technology sector.

The forum attracted over 200 international delegates, including representatives from major organizations like Google, Global AI Corp, SAP, KPMG, WEF, and the European Chamber of Commerce, as well as leading experts and investors such as Mr. Aytug Goksu, Director of the WEF C4IR Network, Dr. Joerg Bienert, President of the German AI Association, and Ms. Sara Ahmadian, Co-Founder of AnarVC, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund.

Notably, Dr. Philipp Rösler, former Vice Chancellor of Germany, former CEO of WEF, and Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Switzerland, also participated. During the event, he was appointed as the Honorary Director of the Ho Chi Minh City C4IR.
