Technical Leader (NodeJS)

Description

Design, develop & implement architect on identified technology such as for web apps and backend services for delivering both features and non-feature requirements for our OTT platform
Support leading and mentoring engineers to achieve a greater level of programming skill
Participate in Agile software development with development teams to build scalable microservices-based products
Collaborates with product stakeholders to understand the requirements of the business and serve as subject matter expert on technology applicable to develop applications and solutions
Understand the requirements of the user or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this
Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve. Presents and defends architectural, design, and technical choices to support our technology goals
Develops high quality code that follows industry standard best practices and considers performance and resiliency
Work closely with cross functional teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
Define clear goals for all aspects of the product and manage their proper execution
Perform expected results in a team-oriented culture through delivering a significant individual contribution while collaborating with and strengthening teammates

At least 5 years experience of working in software development
Have experience of developing web and mobile applications. Can provide solutions for high performance and scalability architecture.
Have experience of microservices architecture, and container platform such as Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Have experienced of Backend (NodeJS, Java), Database (MongoDB, Cassandra), Web Server (Nginx, Apache)
Good teamwork and reliability.
Good communication in English with colleagues and other departments in order to understand needs and advise on solutions.
Have experiences of CI / CD and Agile software development process.
