JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software engineers to automate and optimize build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production environments.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Manage and configure cloud services and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define infrastructure needs, and drive technical initiatives to completion.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, automation, and cloud computing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development and operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI), and build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), New Relic, and DataDog.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining monitoring solutions to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
• Ability to design and implement scalable logging and monitoring solutions to track application and system metrics.
• Familiarity with log aggregation, analysis, and visualization techniques to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Kubernetes certifications, or relevant monitoring tool certifications are a plus.
