JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Proactive support multiple Oracle, MariaDB, and Cassandra databases in AWS and on-prem system
• Support tasks include installation, upgrade, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, High Availability
• Coordinate and assist developers, and other team members to document and maintain internal tools
• Create technical documents and procedures
• Backup and restore database
• Grant and revoke permission
• Monitoring existing production database, disk space, CPU, Memory Utilization, Session

WORKING CONDITION:

• Within a restricted environment with no camera.
• Working within a virtual desktop interface (VDI)

 

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRE SKILL: Linux, Database SQL query

• Database skill: 1 -2 years experience in MariaDB and/or MySQL or Oracle or Cassandra
• Linux skill: 1 – 2 years experience with maintenance Linux system, how to troubleshoot issue relate to CPU high, Memory, DISK,familiar with cron job, able to write simple shell scripts
• Able to use third party database administrator tools such as Toad, Spotlight Oracle
• Excellent communication skills, customer focus, problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow

The followings are plus:

• Knowledge about Amazon service (cloud watch, EC2, RDS)
• Problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Network, Middleware/ Application server environments.
